SMOOTHIES
APPLE SMOOTHIE (SERVES 2)
INGREDIENTS
4 apples (core the apples and quarter them)
1/2 glass skimmed milk
2 teaspoons honey
Method: Blend in a blender and serve.Mix the ingredients. Serve.
STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE (SERVES 2)
INGREDIENTS:
Strawberry Milkshake1 glass skimmed milk
1-cup strawberries (washed and cut)
2 tablespoons cane sugar
Method: Blend in a blender.
BANANA SMOOTHIE (SERVES 2)
Vitamin B3, B5, B6, B12, C, E, biotin, magnesium, manganese, potassium, fibre, calcium, phosphorous, zinc, iron
INGREDIENTS
2 small bananas – chopped
1 cup skimmed milk
1/4 glass water
1 tablespoon powdered almonds
2 teaspoons honey
KIWI SMOOTHIE (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
2 kiwi fruit, peeled and quartered
1-tablespoon honey
1-cup yogurt
Method: Blend in a blender.
BANANA SMOOTHIE (SERVES 2)
INGREDIENTS
1 banana
1 glass low-fat milk
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
Method: Blend in a blender and serve.
OMEGA-3 SMOOTHIE (SERVES 2)
Folate, iron, manganese, potassium, malic acid, flavonoids, betanin, fibre, protein, vitamin C, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, E, K, chromium, calcium, selenium, zinc, omega-3, omega-6
INGREDIENTS
4 carrots (cut)
2 apples (cored and cut)
½ beetroot (cut)
1-tablespoon flax seeds (ground)
1-tablespoon walnuts (ground)
2-tablespoons coriander
A pinch of cinnamon powder
Method: Blend ingredients in a blender. Serve.
ALOE DRINK (SERVES 4)
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel (slit the leaf and remove the gel)
1 cup chopped cucumber
1 cup chopped green apple
1& 1/2 -cup pineapple (peeled and diced)
½ cup coriander and mint leaves
Method: Mix the ingredients in a blender and serve.
